Vacation, or Rather Stay-cation
For those of you who follow me on Instagram you'll know that I've been on a little stay-cation. I don't often take time off of work, in fact it had been 5 years since I'd taken a full week off of work, so needless to say I was super excited about having a full 5 days off of work plus my weekends on either side! I had grand plans about what I wanted to do with this time off, but you know what? I decided to throw it out the window and just go with the flow. The flow happened to be lots of lazy days reading and soaking up the sun, a little diy here and there and some flower planting. My Mister and I did lots of picnic lunches and coffee dates but decided to 86 the long drives and not to mention the gas- (gulp) required for day trips/road trips. Instead we fired up our little Vespa and headed out for the back roads, saving gas and having tons of fun at the same time! Throw in a Farmer's Market, R&R with my furry bff, a little Great Gatsby and quality time with my Husband- a pretty perfect vacation if you ask me!
Here's a little peek into the last weekend of my vacation- which coincidently was my favorite- I felt super rested and ready to be out and about.
the yummiest pita sandwiches with our Farmer's Market fare
Front porch picnic featuring cheese and crackers and
sandwiches on my husband's homemade bread.
The earthiest juice you ever did have!
Too much beet and kale juice looks and tastes like Guinness
Adios vacation, until we meet again!
